(5:24 a.m.)
Most Holy God,
Thank You. Thank You for the
most beautiful early morning sky I've seen in awhile. A crescent of
the moon. Along with stars in the darkness. Beautiful. Yes, thank You
Father.
Thank You for simple
pleasures. Thank You for small delights. Thank You for reminding me
yesterday to be grateful. Gratitude. It was a great word for us.
Consciously remembering to turn to You when attitudes got grumpy
waylaid quite a few upsets.
Thank You especially for the
presence of mind to confess genuine awkwardness when not knowing what
to do in the resolution of a certain problem. Father, You have so
very much to for us to learn. Thank You for making us teachable.
Today is another new day.
Ripe with possibilities. Show us how best to use it to Your good and
to Your glory.
We love You. We long to
serve You well. We ask You to empower and embolden us to that end.
Thank You Father. Bless us and keep us... (Numbers 6:24-26). Thank
You. Amen.
