Blessed
Father,
It's me again. And this time I am feeling excited. Excited because I
just now heard myself think the word, “reprioritize”. That's
what's happening around here. It's been such a l--o--n--g time
coming. But it IS indeed what we're experiencing. Reprioritization.
And then, just as if on cue, a section of scripture to turn to. Acts
2:42-47. Some 3,000 people responded to Peter's preaching and were
baptized. They became a people devoted to loving one another as Jesus
commanded (see: John 13:34). Their interests and concerns were
reprioritized. That's what You are doing in us. Reprioritizing our
interests. Our concerns. Our energies. Our thoughts. And values.
Father, again, I ask You to have Your way in my heart, soul, mind and
strength that I will truly come to love others as myself (Mark
12:31). As I take some time to rest, I ask that You will ultimately
be glorified in and through my thoughts and actions upon my return
to activity.
I love You so very much and I want desperately to serve You well.
Thank You for Your love and kindness. Use me well I pray. Amen.
