Forever is a concept I have struggled with through the years. The thought of life never ending can be more than a bit unsettling to me.

Thank You that we have the hope and Truth of Your Word to teach us about life. In, with, by, through and for You.

Psalm 16:11. “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever.”

John 14:1-4. “Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so you will always be with me were I am. And you know where I am going and how to get there.”

You continue teaching me a myriad of new things. I want to rise to the challenge of living untroubled (John 14:1a). Trusting in You (v. 1b). Being fully alert and aware of my surroundings. Like I was yesterday. Watching the sunset from an expansive hilltop home.
