Father, thank You.
There was a large gathering of loved ones yesterday. Each working together to comfort, honor and support one another. Thank You that I got to be a part of it all.
Sharing stories. Fears. Sadness. As well as joy. Thank You that Your love was the base of it all.

Thank You Father for Your Word. Your Truth. Your promises.
Thank You for the opportunity to read. Rest. Trust. And grow.
We were surrounded by Your love in our gathering yesterday. Kindnesses were shown. Loving encouragements offered up. Tears were choked and shed. Joyful laughter giggled out. This is You at Your best Lord. Thank You.
You continue teaching me a myriad of new things. I want to rise to the challenge of living untroubled (John 14:1a). Trusting in You (v. 1b). Being fully alert and aware of my surroundings. Like I was yesterday. Watching the sunset from an expansive hilltop home.
Do all You must that I worship, adore, glorify and enjoy You as You so rightly deserve. 'Strip off every weight that slows me down (Hebrews 12:1a). Especially the sin that so easily trips us up (v. 1b). So I will run with endurance the race You have set before me' (1c).
The race of love and acceptance. Of You. Others. And myself. Teach me Dear Lord. All that You would have me be and know.
I love, need, trust and want You. Use me exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You.
