Holy God and Father,

Thank You for time to adjust. Change. And grow.

♪Worship Through It♪

It’s definitely been a month Dear Lord. Thank You that through it all You have been right here.

(4:44 a.m.)

Thank You that I am able to confess Psalm 73:26 to You right now. “My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever.”

(4:54 a.m.)

Thank You that we have Jesus’ words to stand on as well. John 16:33, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

I confess to You Dear Lord, I have been building best and worse case scenarios in my head. Adjustments and changes are taking place that I have not been embracing. Thank You again for Your Word of Truth and promises.

Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus again telling His followers not to worry. In this particular instance it’s regarding having enough food, drink or clothing. And the fact that You, our heavenly Father already know all our needs.

(5:12 a.m.)

Here’s an exciting, brand new to my awareness Truth! Matthew 6:33 in New Living Translation. “…and He will give you all you need from day too day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.

More commonly known to me as:

♪Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

And His righteousness

And all these things shall be added unto you

Hallelujah, Hallelujah!♪

Again I confess Dear Lord. I have been so caught up in adjusting, changing and growing I have fallen quite short on the seeking, worshiping and praising. Have Your way in, with, by, through and for me Dearest God.

Reminded to read again of Jeremiah pouring out of his pain to You (Lamentations) I come to stand on chapter 3, verses 19 through 24.

“The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:

“The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By His mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, ‘The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!’”

Yes Father!

The Message says, “GOD’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, His merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great Your faithfulness! I’m sticking with GOD (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.”

EasyEnglish Bible. “Every day, we can trust Him to be kind again. We know that He will do what He has promised to do. ‘He is my LORD,’ I say to myself. ‘He is the reason why I can hope for good things.’”

You ARE my LORD! And my reason to hope for good things. Thank You for reminding me. Yet again.

I love, need, trust and want You Blessed God. Use me exactly as You know is best. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.

Trying again. Hi God.

(5:24 a.m.)

Still trying Lord!

This is not the resolve with which I woke just earlier. Many things feel physically off with my body this morning. And You are still good. Nothing changes that.

Father, thank You for time spent in the pit of my own making. Thank You even more for the Truth You have for us through the apostle Paul’s letter to the Philippians.

I don’t want to be afraid

(Peace Be Still)

(6:06 a.m.)

Thank You for all the reminders Father. Your faithfulness. Your love for us.

(6:41 a.m.)

I confess I continue fighting changes I know need to be made. Thank You for Your patience with me. Lord, provide all that is needed for me to think and say and do and be all that You know is best.

I very much want to live the joy that is found in praying about everything. Telling You what I need. And thanking You for all You have done (Philippians 4:6).

Mm. Yes Father! Continue Your work in reminding me to fix my thoughts on all of the whatsoevers found in verse 8.

The Passion Translation lists them as “all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind.” Ending with Paul’s urging to “fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always.”

Yes please. I want to do that today.

Ben Campbell Johnson paraphrased the guidelines for our thought life as: thinking reality - worthwhile, honest, clear, loving, praiseworthy, “whatever has integrity and deserves admiration - these should dominate your thinking.” I think so too.

Do all You must in, with, by, through and for me to this end Dear Lord.

Quoting an e-article on the function of sadness I feel hopeful. Thank You Father.

“… Acknowledging and experiencing sadness also helps us reach a place of acceptance to move forward… Our sadness may actually help us create a new or different version of our life!” That seems inviting.

(6:27 a.m.)

Just as I was rounding the corner, ready to be done, here I come to another great way of starting the day. A new to me reading of this section of Scripture. EasyEnglish Bible. Verses 22-25.

“But God’s Spirit causes us to live in a different [see verses 19-21] way. We love other people. We are happy and we have peace in our minds. We are patient, kind and good. People can trust us to do what is right. We respect other people and we rule ourselves properly. God’s Spirit helps us to live in that way. There is no law that says theses things are wrong.

“We belong to Christ. As a result, we no longer obey our wrong human thoughts. We stop doing the bad things that our thoughts want us to do. It is like we have killed those thoughts on the cross. Now it is God’s Spirit that gives us life. So we must let God’s Spirit lead us in how we live.”

Yes please! Lead that I will follow. Thank You. Praise You. Amen.
